Event Recap: WordCamp Europe

Blog, WordCamps

Last week, our team had the privilege to travel to Belgrade, Serbia for the 2018 WordCamp Europe event. After arriving and getting settled in, we traveled over to the Sava Centar, where we were able to setup our booth and start to connect with friends in the WordPress community. The event started off with an excellent Q&A session by Matt Mullenweg. The session provided valuable information about the overall vision and direction of the WordPress community. Matt shared special announcements, such as the location of the next US WordCamps, future WordPress versions and much more. This information gives BoldGrid the ability to keep on top of the most important news and developments so we can provide the best updates for you. Aaron Campbell, a long-time friend of BoldGrid, provided an interesting look at how to succeed in a large social community like WordPress. He shared how extroverts can join the social community and introverts can thrive without having to feel the pressure of the extroverted world. BoldGrid understands this and values the abilities of both extroverts and introverts. We had an excellent time connecting with conference attendees as well as enjoying the beauty of Serbia. BoldGrid is a valued and respected member of the WordPress community. As a sponsor for WordCamp Europe, we’re committed to the success of WordPress and developing tools to make building a website a success. As the event came to a close, the after parties sponsored by our many partners, provided an excellent opportunity for BoldGrid to renew its relationships and connect at a deeper level.
